What started in 2014 as one guy's goal to be his own boss has grown into something bigger - a real team that's become a trusted part of the Frederick community. It all kicked off in Germantown - just Joe, the standards he brought home from the US Navy and a whole lot of hustle. Back then we were Germantown Window Tinting, doing auto tint and not much else. In 2015 we packed up and moved to Frederick, became Frederick Window Tinting and never looked back. For years we kept it simple and did it well - auto tint, home and office tint, commercial lettering and automotive styling. Then in 2020, when COVID hit, Sharyn started Shop Local Frederick MD, a Facebook group to help local businesses stay afloat. It's grown to nearly 36,000 members since. In 2023 we started branching out into wraps, graphics, signage and apparel. By 2025 those had grown into brands of their own - Frederick Wraps & Graphics handles the wraps, graphics and signage, while Frederick Apparel takes care of custom apparel. Same team, same building, just the right brand for the job. These days Joe and Sharyn still run things day to day, with their son Joey in the mix too. The Volpes' faith in Christ is the foundation under all of it, and it keeps us honest about one simple thing: treat people well, put them ahead of the dollar and the rest works out. That's why we strive to be Frederick's most simple, honest and convenient solution for window tint, wraps, PPF, signage and apparel.
